Hello!

Thank you for looking at this site. This shows that you’re interested in forming a band with me. It’ll be a great laugh and a good way to meet new peeps. In this email, I’ll tell you everything about the auditions and what to expect.

What I Expect of You

First of all, back away if you’re likely not to be committed or if you’ll drop out after about 6 months. The band won’t be like this. I want it to be fun, but it would be amazing to start gigs and that. I hope you’re not afraid of crowds or get embarrassed easily! You’ll have to play or sing your best as much as possible but I won’t kill you if you have an ‘off day’ every now and then. You should have your own instrument and amp but if you don’t, try your best to get one or borrow one off a mate.

The Auditions

These won’t be at all scary, especially if you know me and what I’m like! All I want you to do is to fill out the form (attached to this email) and take it along with you. If you do not have it on the day, then I’m afraid I can’t let you audition. Sorry, but rules are rules. Plus if you get it to me on time I’ll probably put you in my good books for being organised.

The auditions will start at 1:15 but I will be there 5 minutes early to go over any questions you might have that you didn’t think of before. Come and watch if you like but don’t bring your mates. The auditions will be on a Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and Friday. I’ll see if you can play okay and that you have a sense of rhythm. Here’s a timetable:
